If there’s one thing you know about me, it’s that my love for beauty and skincare products is strong!  Being around the fashion industry for well over a decade (yikes, that shows my age) has taught me the importance of taking care of my skin and investing in great beauty products.  Now, as a new mommy, I’m finding it’s harder to find the time to pamper myself.  I’ve also noticed that my skin has been uber sensitive since I’ve had Olivia, so I’m always careful when selecting which products to put on my face.

Today I’m excited to share my at-home spa experience with L’Occitane and their latest Peony Collection.  What we put on our skin is extremely important.  You always want to check for a chemical-free, plant-based product.  After all, you’re putting this on your face!  I always opt for clean, non-toxic beauty products.  That is exactly why I love L’Occitane.  The majority of their products have minimal ingredients and are based from plant extracts.  From the delicious floral scent, to silky texture of each mask, L’Occitane’s Peony collection helps to brighten and moisturize your skin in the most spa-like way.  Added incentive?  You can achieve this in the comfort of your own home!  Did I mention that peony extract found in each mask is from Drôme in the south of France?

Each mask from the Peony collection targets a specific issue, including hydration, purification, and an intense overnight mask for dry skin.  The hydration and purifying masks are quick 3 minute masks that you can apply in the morning or right before bed.  I applied mine first thing in the morning and opted for a makeup-free day because my face felt so fresh afterwards.  Words cannot describe how much softer my skin was after a quick 3 minute mask.  I will be using this regularly without any hesitation.  Yesterday was my first time sleeping with the overnight mask.  I woke up with my skin looking refreshed and feeling softer than ever.

Their next product from the Peony Collection is the Peony Petal Cleansing Oil.  This oil feels and smells like heaven!  Remember the peony extract from the south of France I mentioned earlier?  This product is actually infused with real peony petals from Provence and the packaging is gorgeous!!  The oil helps gently remove impurities all while keeping the skin hydrated and refreshed.  When I applied this product, my skin instantly had a glow to it.  Where has this been all my life?!  I can assure you that this collection is here to stay in the Gentry household.
